Batiking is a multiple step artistic process!
First, a design is drawn onto a white shirt.
Second, hot liquid wax is drawn onto the shirt, this makes the white parts.
Third, the inside of the design is painted vibrant colors.
Fourth, the painted section is filled in with the melted wax.
Fifth, the whole shirt is submerged into dye! the waxed sections keep the design safe.
Sixth, The garment is rinsed in water.
Seventh, The wax is removed from the shirt by boiling is water.
Lastly, The shirt is washed and dried, ready for comfort and enjoyment :)
